Roger Clemens has now decided to file a defamation lawsuit against his former trainer Brian McNamee, claiming that McNamee was pressured by federal investigators to say that Clemens used performance-enhancing drugs.
Now tell me. Why would the United States Government have anything against Clemens?

If my calculations are correct, my final prediction tally for the 2007 NFL Season was as follows:
152- 104
My goal for this season was to be above .500 and I reached that goal.
Maybe next year I’ll use spreads. Only then will you see how bad I am at picking football games.

Pitchers Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte, second baseman Chuck Knoblauch, and trainer Brian McNamee have all been asked to testify before the United States Congress.
In addition, Kirk Radomski, a long time New York Mets clubhouse attendant who was mentioned in the Mitchell Report, has also been called to testify.
They have been asked to report on January 16th at 10 AM.
If Clemens and McNamee both stay true to the stories they’ve been telling, someone is going to be guilty of perjury.
And if someone is guilty of perjury, we know now that indictment is very possible.

On the next episode of 60 Minutes Sunday Night, Roger Clemens will say that he was injected by McNamee with legal drugs.
Earl Ward, Brian McNamee’s lead lawyer, said this: “The only injections he ever gave Clemens were for steroids and human growth hormone.”
Problem: Looks to me like someone’s lying.
Solution: Get these two on Maury Povich.

“He’s got a chance to protect himself. We’re not going to sue
him if he doesn’t do it. But if he does it, we’re going to sue him.”
- Richard D. Emery, a lawyer of Brian McNamee, on suing
Roger Clemens if he says Mcnamee is lying on ‘60 Minutes’
This could get interesting quick.

Newly hired General Manager and Jeff Ireland and Bill Parcells fired Dolphins head coach Cam Cameron and many of his coaching staff.
The two survivors in the firings are special teams coach Steve Hoffman and linebackers coach George Edwards.
Imagine if they went 0-16? Would they fire the concessions people?

The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Buffalo Sabres 2-1 in a shootout yesterday. The “Winter Classic” was the first outdoor NHL game held in America.
The NHL had to be happy enough when the game got to a shootout. But when Sidney Crosby had the winning shootout goal, they must have partied like it was 2007.
