But being optimistic, what does count for something was the play of Nate Robinson. Among players like Kevin Durant, Nate was the best of them all.
Nate averaged 19.6 points and 6 assists a game.
The biggest surprise was that he led the Knicks to first place and an undefeated summer.
And the last time the Knicks and the words “first place” were used in the same sentence, I wasn’t around and the world danced to Disco music.
It’s a promising start, for a Knicks team that desperately needs a playoff berth.
