Kiss the Devil Rays goodbye.
Yesterday afternoon, the “Tampa Bay Devil Rays” organization officially changed their name to the “Tampa Bay Rays.” Along with the name change, they changed their team colors from green to blue and light blue. Their new logo (right) portrays a ray of sunlight.
Bottom Line: By dropping devil, they are no longer fish, they are sun beams.
Bottom Bottom Line: It doesn’t matter what you name them. They will still finish in last place, as they have 9 out of the 10 years they have been in existence.
