Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress (right) announced today that Wide Receiver Troy Williamson will be getting his $25,000 check back.
This came after the team announced earlier this week that he would be losing the money for three practices and a game he missed while he was home for his grandmother’s funeral (See Below).
Childress said this:
“I think the important thing is everybody grieves differently. That’s the thing that I learned, or we learned, in this. In the end, it’s not important to be right, but to get it right.”
Or, in other words,
‘Our bad.’
Williamson plans to take the returned check and donate it to a charity in honor of his recently passed grandmother.
And speaking of checks, this is the third story involving the Minnesota Vikings in a row. Soon, they are going to owe me a check.
