To all my readers:
I would just like to wish all a happy and healthy 2008.
Yours,
The Captain
Out With the New, In With the Old
Hi folks. I’m heading back for the end of the holiday today. Right now I’m going to display a quick view of my picks, and will update with the formal, regular version when I get to my destination.
Seahawks, Giants, Jaguars, Saints, Buccaneers, Browns, Titans, Chiefs, Cardinals, Chargers, Bears, Patriots, Steelers
Again, check back later for the formal version of the picks.
Safe Travels,
The Captain
The Captain is in transit today for the holiday week. I will try to get some content up late tonight. But if I cannot, be sure to check back tomorrow. And for all those traveling, be safe.
The Captain
Welcome to the New Captain.
What exactly is the New Captain!?
Well, obviously, there’s a new layout.
To go along with the new layout, I have added a poll section, which will change every few days. In addition, there will now be a new type of article I will post, called Captain’s Inside Analysis, which will debut in the next few days.
On top of that, I will now be posting more articles every day. Beginning tomorrow, my goal is to post at a bare minimum of three times a day. So every day, you, my faithful audience, will get more content, more laughs, and more insight.
Of course, the Word of Mouth sections will continued to be featured on the website.
Any comments, suggestions, or questions can again be sent to The.Sports.Captain@gmail.com.
Enjoy the change and definitely, enjoy the Captain.
Been a busy weekend and becoming a busy week.
The Captain will be back Wednesday. Stay tuned and check back.
…Updates later.
I am the Captain.
I know it may seem peculiar to you, but I have chosen to keep my identity a secret to my readers. A lot of my writings will deal with many different players and teams. By keeping my identity a secret, there will be no way for you as a reader to know where I am from, which would in turn give away to you teams I may favor. And that’s exactly what I don’t want to do. This needs to be an impartial website.
The articles on sports I choose will predominantly come from but will not limited to the big four sport leagues in the United States (MLB, NFL, NHL, and the NBA). In addition, the items I will cover may not necessarily be the top headline or headlines, but the items I find most interesting at the time. Of course, if there is a particular item you would wish for me to cover, you can email me and I will do my best to do so.
The goal of this blog is to take the edge off. This isn’t a place for seriousness, this is a place to enjoy sports topics in an analytical (see top) and comical manner.
So enough with the seriousness already. Lets have some fun.
