The World Series Of Poker has come to a head, and the field is down to nine.
Yesterday, the only real famous face left in the tournament, the “Prince of Poker” Scotty Nguyen (right), took 11th place, two shy of the final table.
The final table includes 5 less than famous Poker pros, an internet player, a retiree from South Africa, a psychologist, and a software engineer.
The last three players that I mentioned have no winnings from previous WSOP events.
So once again, as in many other years, the title of World Series of Poker champion will go to someone new.
If poker didn’t have so much to do with luck, why is it so hard to repeat? I’ll let the “poker experts” handle that one.
